    Garlock GYLON Style 3504 sheet material is made of PTFE with aluminosilicate microspheres. It is designed for use in many acids, some caustics, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, and more. With a tight seal that has an improved performance over a conventional PTFE material. With a reduced product loss and emissions and reduced creep relaxation this unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE sheets.


    The Garlock GYLON Style 3504 has an excellent bolt torque retention and withstands a wide range of chemicals for extended service live in a wide variety of applications. Garlock GYLON Style 3500 has branding and color coding that reduces misapplication. Additionally Garlock GYLON Style 3504 doesn't burn or support bacterial growth which makes it ideal for many acids and some caustics, hydrocarbons, solvents, water, refrigerants, cryogenics and hydrogen peroxide.
