NITRILE CLOSED CELL SPONGE RUBBER

Nitrile (also known as Buna-N) closed cell sponge rubber is an excellent choice of gasket material for sealing applications that require oil and UV resistance. With a high resistance to vegetable oil, animal oil, and mineral oil, Buna-N also performs well as a gasket or sealing material in petroleum-based applications. Also, Nitrile rubber gaskets are able to maintain its properties in commercial or industrial applications where temperatures range from -40°F to +250°F.

FUEL (GASOLINE & DIESEL)

Our closed cell Nitrile sponge is pure Nitrile and an excellent gasket material for sealing petroleum-based fuels like gasoline, diesel and other aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

 

NON-FUEL

Nitrile closed cell sponge works incredibly well as a gasket material in applications or situations that will be exposed to animal oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil or lubricating oil.

All of our Nitrile is available in sheets 42″ wide x 80″ long in thicknesses from 1/16″ to 1-1/2″. Our team can also slit rolls starting as narrow as 1/4″ or use custom CNC or waterjet cutting methods to create gaskets to your exact specifications.
